Lucky Clouds Bangle 2

I inlayed the silver plate into a side of bangle, also embeded the silver wire into the surface as well. I attemped to making lucy clouds pattern on my bangle.

Display

Last year, I put my work photos into perspex board to display my design development process, as well as connected bamboo sticks together as my display decoration, stick on the surface of the exhibition pillar.

In this year end exhibition, I will keeping my last year style, make my own special stand and decorations that all linking with my work.

During the period that I made this bangle, I redesigned my work-- chopped two pieces of wood from bangle, added the two silver plates.

This is the final design pattern on the bangle.

This is a kind of idea I design the bangle, the materal I decide use wood and silver.

I attempt to use lucky clouds pattern tracing on my bangle, but I'm not use all the pattern, I just adopted some of interesting parts and added own design put into bangle. This piece of jewelry contained cultural heritage inside but it has made Today.

I design that pattern again and again, I don't want that pattern looks like just copy from traditional pattern.

This pattern is the final design, it is have a lot of modern elamants inside this pattern.

I use the lucky cloud pattern from olympic torch and put on the ring.

After I made this sample I fill the pattern not fit on the ring, it's very flat, it doesn't come out.

In tradion people put lucky cloud pattern on the decoration.

Or they put on the furniture.

This is traditional lucky cloud pattern.

Lucky cloud is traditional chinese pattern, it's means propitious. 2008 Beijing olympic games, they put this pattern on the torch.
