pattern from Olympic torch
2008 Olympic torch's pattern --lucky cloud comes from The Zhou dynasty, this dynasty “Lucky Cloud” pattern does not looks like cloud at all. It looks like scrolls of volume. “Lucky Cloud” is the sign of arrival of fortune. This heavenly phenomenon giving signs of fortune is of course very rare to happen. So I attempt to etch this pattern on the silver plate, as well as try to use these test pieces to make some jewellery or vessel.
