GongFu Tea Cups

The first impression for Chinese GongFu tea cups is tiny and exquisite. Normally, Chinese people using purple sand(zi sha) or Porcelin to made it. Cause GongFu Tea is a kind of tea ceremony, Chinese people prefer put some beautiful pattern or Chinese calligraphy at Cups outside surface, so the drinking is more like a kind of art.

Lucky cloud etching test piece

pattern from Olympic torch

2008 Olympic torch's pattern --lucky cloud comes from The Zhou dynasty, this dynasty “Lucky Cloud” pattern does not looks like cloud at all. It looks like scrolls of volume. “Lucky Cloud” is the sign of arrival of fortune. This heavenly phenomenon giving signs of fortune is of course very rare to happen.
So I attempt to etch this pattern on the silver plate, as well as try to use these test pieces to make some jewellery or vessel.

Lucky Clouds Bangle 3

This is the final piece of Lucy Cloud Bangle, I try to created a animated feeling through the silver plate that inlayed in left side, it looks just like growth from wooden bangle.
I put sliver plate at inner bangle, that looks match with my whole work, as well as increase my work value.
